Jacob's name changed to Israel

The dawn broke in the distance, with a touch that brought him low, Yet in his pain, he found the strength to face what lay below. “Your name is now Israel, for you’ve struggled and prevailed, In the hands of God, my child, your spirit will not fail.” As he limped from that river, he carried a new name, Transformed through his struggle, never to be the same. With each step toward tomorrow, he held his head up high, For in wrestling with his fears, he learned to soar and fly.
